Canon PowerShot G5X and G9X Coming Soon
I have just returned from my South Africa Wildlife Photo Tour. it was quite a successful trip and there are many close encounters with the Big Five plus many other animals and birds. Once I get back to my normal routine and gone through some of the images, I will post them on this blog, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Digicame of Japan has leaked photos and specs of the soon to be released Canon Powershot G5 X and Powershot G9 X cameras. Canon announced their most recent PowerShot model, the G3 X in June of this year.
The Powershot G5 X resembles a small DSLR and may be equipped with an EVF and the same focal length lens as the Powershot G7 X. The Powershot G9 X has a retro look to it and it smaller than the G5 X and G3X models.

Large Sensor PowerShot Camera Coming To CES 2015

With the successful launch of the G7 X PowerShot camera in September, Canon is apparently planning to launch another large sensor zoom camera under the PowerShot line at the 2015 Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas, starting on January 6. More Large Sensor Canon PowerShot Cameras Coming
Canon announced the PowerShot G7 X camera on September 15. It comes with a 1 inch 20 MP High-Sensitivity CMOS sensor powered by the DIGIC 6 Image Processor. This will be followed by more PowerShots models, like the G1 X Mk II, equipped with large sensors down the road.
