World Press Photo announced the winners of its 2020 Photo Contest. It is a photo taken by Yasuyoshi Chiba of the 2019 Sudan uprising. The following breakdown of camera brands and sensors used for the Photo Contest is provided by Photolari, the Spanish photography website.
Canon's share of the winners' circle dropped to 38% from 46% last year. Similarly, Nikon dropped from 37% to 26%. Sony's and Fuji's share increased from 2.6% to 7% and 10% to 16%, respectively. Notice even Hasselblad, Mamiya and DJI (drone maker) also made the list.
