Canon Working On New Lens Technology, Really?

Blue-crowned Motmot in Costa Rica

I am still on my Wildlife Photo Tour in Costa Rica. You can follow my travels on Facebook and Twitter. See my equipment bag and works on MichaelDanielHo.com

Focus Numerique and DPReview visited Canon’s Optics factory in Utsunomiya recently and interviewed their top executives. Three Canon execs discussed the company’s future strategy, products.

According to the French interview, Canon apparently mentioned they are working on a new technology to take a new type of photo. That's like saying The Wildlife Ho-tographer is working on a new wildlife photo tour to take a new type of wildlife photography.

Canon is the largest photography company in the world. Their engineers are toiling constantly in the labs to improve on current and experiment on new technologies. It seems pretty obvious to me, don't you think?
