Canon may be ready to announce a new high end Cinema EOS camera, perhaps called the C700, some time in late August or early September, to coincide with the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) Exhibition, taking place in Amsterdam on September 8.
The new camera may be equipped with a new Super35 sensor and have a resolution slightly higher than 4K video, but not 8K. The new body will support anamorphic lens and cost more than the C500 Mark II. Keep checking back for the latest information. More to come . . . . .
