The Canon EOS-70D camera was announced on July 1, 2013 (see official announcement) and it has since garnered a lot of attention and interest. Below are some test videos using pre-production cameras, showing the revolutionary Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology in action. The videos of the child is particularly interesting because it is combining facial recognition software with the Dual Pixel AF tracking. The camera can be pre-ordered in the U.S. for $1,199 and shipping is expected by late September.
