The Japanese photography blog, Egami, has discovered a new Canon patent for a EF-M 70-400mm f/4.5-7.2 STM lens design. The 'death' of the EOS-M camera system outside of Asia should be put to rest. I expect a new EOS-M3 camera system to be introduced next year and will even come to Europe and The Americas.
