Canon EOS Rebel T5i camera |
Canon has issued a new Firmware, Version 1.1.3 for the Rebel T5i camera. In my previous post, I have questioned the value of upgrading to the T5i from the already very good, Rebel T4i. There is a chance Canon may introduce another new PowerShot/Rebel camera for the CP+ Camera and Imaging Show coming up in Yokohama, Japan next month.
I do not think the photography world needs another new Rebel camera. They seem to come out every year. What Canon should do is announce the Canon EOS-7D Mk II camera as soon as possible.
Firmware Version 1.1.3 incorporates the following fixes :
- Fixes a phenomenon in which the camera displays Err01 or Err60, or in rare instances will lock-up when in Live View shooting mode (or Movie shooting mode) when attached to the following STM zoom lenses: EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM, EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM, EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS STM.
- Corrects some Korean language misspellings displayed on the menu screen.
