Canon USA has scheduled a media event in its new headquarters in New York on August 21, 2013. Is this just a big celebration of their new HQ or will Canon make use of the attention an introduce some new products?
I was hoping maybe Canon will take this opportunity and announce some new products or product development in progress. Apparently, only new Powershot cameras will be involved and a big splash on how to take advantage of the recently introduced Project 1709, a photo management software from Canon, perhaps Cloud-based. There is still time for Canon to add something more interesting to the venue so please check back for the latest information and development.
