Canon EOS-1D X Mk II Camera Being Finalized

Canon EOS-1D X Mk II camera?

My friends in the business have informed me Canon is almost ready to nail down the final configuration and specs of the EOS-1D X Mk II camera. They are waiting for the photographers testing the pre-production cameras to finish their assignments and gather all the necessary feedback and data.

Canon invited me to their EXPO 2015 in New York City but I will be away on a wildlife photo shoot. This once every 5 year, by invitation only, technology demonstration takes place in New York City on September 10-11, 2015, at the Javits Convention Center.

The EOS-5D Mk IV and EOS-1D X Mk II will most probably be mentioned at the show, together with some interesting development projects. Contact me on my website MichaelDanielHo.com if you want to attend in my place. Keep checking back as I get more info and leaks soon.

I have been using the Canon EOS-1 series of camera since 1989. This upcoming Series II version of the EOS-1D X promises to be the best ever. My biggest 'criticism' with the EOS-1 models is its moderate MP count, except for the EOS-1Ds Mk III. Not a big fan of extenders so I like to have more pixels to crop with. The new camera will come with a brand new 20+ MP sensor and AF system, plus a burst rate of at least 12 fps. That's music to my ears.
