Silly Season For Canon Rumors Is Upon Us

It seems this is the Silly Season for Canon 'deals and rumors.' In the last few weeks, many photography websites have been plastering their front pages with so-called 'crazy Pre and Post Black Friday / Christmas deals.' These are the same sites that will benefit from your purchases, if you click on the provided links and buy from these merchants. The Internet and the myriad search engines are such useful tools, anyone can search for good deals objectively without being influenced by others.

Then there are these wild rumors ranging from no replacement to the Canon EOS-7D to a new Canon EOS mega pixel A1 camera with a hybrid Electronic Viewfinder. My own view is Canon will replace the EOS-7D and announce a conventional mega pixel camera in 2014. While anything is possible with product development and announcements, I am quite comfortable with the above observation and will post the latest updates as soon as it is available.

As my readers know, I have been a Travel and Wildlife photographer using Canon equipment for about 25 years now. Through the decades, I have used almost all of Canon's cropped and full frame, film and digital cameras, plus the EF and EF-S lenses. You can view on work on MichaelDanielHo.com
