Canon EOS Rebel T5i/700D camera

Apparently, the other DSLR camera waiting to be announced next is the EOS Rebel T5i/700D. No word on the EOS-70D. If Canon is not announcing their answer to the Nikon D7100 very soon, it will give their competition a head start again. Judging from the initial specs of the Rebel T5i, it gives me little excitement. If Canon keeps introducing new EOS Rebel models rapidly but with little, real improvement to the technology, they run the risk of alienating the people who upgraded recently.
