The rumored, smaller Canon DSLR is finally revealed. See my earlier post on this topic. The camera is called the EOS-100D and will be available with the EF 18-55mm IS STM kit. The information I posted earlier was close to what is being released now by a Japanese website. You can see the article here in Japanese.
